Your Brazen Careerist Fan Feed is home base for sharing ideas. Here’s what your new Fan Feed allows you to do:
How To: Send updates to your fans, and to networks
There’s no need to visit a network page to join the conversation. If you’re already a member, you can contribute directly from your Fan Feed. Simply click on the Add/Edit link above your chat box and start typing the name of a network you are a member of.
You can send your message to up to 5 networks at once, not including the default option that delivers your message to all of your Fans.
How To: Join a conversation directly from your Fan Feed
You can reply to conversations directly from your Fan Feed, too! Click on the reply button next to a conversation that’s happening in one of your networks (or one of your Fan’s networks) and add your thoughts to the discussion. The discussion will jump up to the top of your Fan Feed, your follower’s Fan Feeds and the Fan Feeds of any anyone involved in the discussion.
If you think an idea that someone is sharing is good, but don’t have anything to add, you can show your appreciation by recommending the idea to all of your Brazen Careerist followers. The discussion will jump up to the top of your Fan Feed and your follower’s Fan Feeds.
You can also start a conversation through a #Brazen tweet from one of the people you follow. Click on the reply button next to the tweet and start talking about whatever it is that they shared via Twitter.
Connecting your accounts is as easy as clicking a button!
When you first click on any of the social media check boxes in your Fan Feed chat box a window will pop up asking you to give Brazen Careerist permission to send updates to your other account. It may also ask you to enter your username and password if you are not already logged into Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter.
Once you’ve connected one of your accounts, you’ll never have to go through the process again. You can simply click the check box each time you post, or you can automatically authorize your posts to be sent to any of your networks by changing your default settings.To change your default settings or deactivate the connection visit your Edit Profile page.
