Our first-ever Crowdsource Your Career event was outstanding and it left us hungry for more. On Wednesday, September 22, we'll be organizing Round 2 of our monthly meetup series and we're confident that even more Brazen friends will rally together than last month. Here's this month's topic ...
What makes your city a great place to live and work?
Meet up with local Brazen members and discuss what brought you to your city in the first place. Why is it so great? Why is it not so great? With enough support, what could you change?
Film each other talking about what you discovered and bring the footage back to the community at large. We'll create a video recap that shows the world what went down. But wait! There's more ...
We want each of you to document what you learned from your meetup on your blogs and share a link with us. We're going to compile your posts and send them to top decision makers letting them know what we really think. So far, we're planning on sending your posts to these people ...
- The mayor of your city.
- Your state's governor.
- The EDA
If you have any other ideas of people you'd like us to contact with your blog posts, leave a comment below and we'll send our list to them, too! It's amazing what can be accomplished when we bring each other together.

Ready to get started? Let's do it ...
1) Find/create an event in your city: Just like last month, we're using Meetup Everywhere to organize our events. Visit Brazen's meetup page and scan the list for an event happening near you. Don't see one? Then create one and start inviting people!
2) Pick a venue: It doesn't need to be a bar! In fact, I challenge you to NOT meet at a bar. +10 Brazen points for anyone who can pull that off!
If you do meet at a bar (and there's nothing wrong with that!) try to find one that's low key enough for good conversations to happen and to film some videos. Make sense?
3) Spread the word: Tell your friends. Tell your Twitter followers. Tell your neighbor. Tell your grandma. Tell everybody! You can get started by sharing this blog post right now on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Brazen ...
