Two weeks ago when we asked members of the community to rally together in their cities, talk about their careers AND submit video footage, we didn't know what to expect. The outcome was nothing less than astounding and all that I can say is wow!
Today, we're really proud to show you a video recap of our first—and definitely not our last—Crowdsource Your Career event:
It was tough to edit hours of great footage down to 2-3 minutes, but I hope you're all as happy as we are with how it turned out. We're going to make all of the full recordings available in the near future. Until then, we need your help.
We're already starting to organize our next Crowdsource Your Career Meetup and we want to make this one bigger and better than the last. But we can't do it without you! Here are some things that you can do to help us continue the movement:
- Share the video: We want everyone to see how much fun we had so more people join us next time. Please share this video with your friends on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Brazen. Let's show people the cool things that we're doing together!
- Write a blog post: Share what you learned from your city's event with your blog readers and your friends on Brazen. Email me (ryanpaugh@brazencareerist.com) when your post has been published and we'll feature it on Brazen for everyone to see.
- Give us feedback: Leave a comment letting us know what you thought of last month's topic and what you think our next topic should be. What else could be better about our events? Let us know in the comments section.

That's really cool. I believe that to take control of your career you need to connect with people that are successful in your industry and mimic what they're doing.
"Why fix it, if it ain't broken" kind of mentality.
Of course, remember to add your touch of originality.
