The job search and application process has changed. I was recently speaking with a colleague of mine who has been with his company for over 20 years; so I asked him how he applied for the job. His answer: “I faxed a copy of my resume and they called several weeks later to have me come in to interview.” Wow, how times have changed. In fact, it’s no longer enough to just submit your resume and application; there needs to be interaction between you and the organization.
