It’s easy to create your own network on Brazen, with many great benefits:
1) Find like-minded people.
2) Have great conversations around a specific topic.
3) Create your own community and expand your existing network.
4) Build thought-leadership.
Before You Start
Before you get started, search the existing directory of networks for similar groups. Let’s say we want to create a network around “Power Couples.” Use the search bar in the upper-right hand corner to search for the term. If you don’t find a similar network that interests you, it’s time to create your own!
Create Your Own Network in 5 Minutes
1. Click on the “Create Network” (30 seconds).
Find the "Create Network" link under “Networks” in the header navigation (or click here) to reach the form to create your group.
2. Add the good stuff (2 minutes).
Now you’ll be able to add a network description, create a name, list which category your network belongs to and add a picture. Filling all parts out thoroughly will make your network more appealing to join.
3. Add a quick introduction (1 minute).
Seeding your network with some content from you will give others a more compelling reason to join and jump in the conversation. See below for some example text. A good introduction will typically include a sincere welcome and a question to jump-start the conversation.
4. Invite your friends and fans to join (1 minute).
Brazen allows you to invite your existing fans on the Brazen network, and reach out to your friends and followers on other networks. You can enter a quick message which will become part of the invitation email. We recommend repurposing part of your introductory text or group description.
5. Give yourself a pat on the back (30 seconds).
Congrats - you've created a network! As the conversation ebbs and flows, you’ll be able to glean new points of view, meet new people with similar interests, learn more about your topic and more.
