I waited until the summer of my senior year to think about GMAT preparation. I would second this advice because your senior year (if you are planning to go to graduate school right away) is very hectic. Your GMAT score is also a key piece of the puzzle in regards to which MBA program you get into. So it is tough to not have this score when you are trying to get applications together.
