I recently met up with my friend Jason Dorsey (the Gen Y Guy) in Chicago, and here's what he had to say about how managers can engage new Gen Y employees on their first day:
There is no question that future organizational success will depend upon how well businesses engage and retain the Gen Y worker. The three suggestions that Jason makes here are great. However, I could make the case that these tips apply to any new employee regardless of the generation - they are simply good on-boarding practices.
