HELLO BRAZEN CAREERIST!

Over the last year a lot has changed at Brazen Careerist.  We've changed our look, rolled out some great new features and added a lot of new people to the community.  Now that 2009 is coming to an end, we’ve been reminiscing about some of the years best, most helpful and most insightful blog posts..

For example, maybe you remember Matt Cheuvront’s post about the social media revolution already being here.  Or what about Cath Duncan's post about creating a successful location independent lifestyle?  Those are just two of the posts that you’ll find in this year’s edition of Brazen Careerist’s Best Posts of 2009.

This year we wanted to do something to reward those great topics and posts.  Tell us which of our best blog posts were your favorite.  Just go though the list (click here) and choose your 5 favorites from 2009!  The blogger with the most votes is going to receive a $150 Amazon gift card (so you can buy the gift Santa forgot to bring) and the distinction of being Brazen Careerist’s Blogger of the Year.

To vote, log onto Twitter and submit a tweet.  Here’s an example of what your tweet should look like:

To be eligible each tweet must include 1) the hashtags #Brazen and #BestOf, and 2) a link to the post you’re voting for on Brazen Careerist.  Pre-shortened URLs have been provided on the Best of 2009 Blog Post list.

You can vote for up to 5 different bloggers.  Each vote will put your name in a raffle to win 1 of 3  $20 Starbucks gift cards.  You can receive a 6th bonus ballot by tweeting about the Best of 2009 Contest.

Here’s an example of what that tweet should look like:

Voting will continue until Midnight on Wednesday, December 23. and we will announce our winners later in the day.  You DO NOT need to be a member of Brazen Careerist to vote, so tell your friends!  And if you have any questions, please let me know!

Good luck to all of our Brazen Careerist Top Bloggers.  We’re looking forward to announcing our Blogger of the Year!

Cheers!

Ryan Paugh, Director of Community

Great contest and I feel so humbled to be part of the list. Thanks, Brazen! Going to fight for my Starbucks card now! Don't worry, not voting for myself, ha!

This so awesome, Ryan! What a GREAT list of people, and of course it barely scratches the surface of the tremendous Gen Y'ers on Brazen (GO US!)

So many great posts on this list excited to back and read all of them to vote.

And, seriously, not to sound cliche, but I'm so flattered/honored/flabbergasted/touched (you can insert a number of adverbs there) to be listed among such GREAT people!

Go Brazen!

Hey Sharalyn,

Yes! So many great bloggers! It was extremely difficult to narrow the list down to 50 people.

I'm glad you made the list! You've done some really cool things this year for our blogging community. Gen-Y Gives Thanks was an awesome series.

Keep up the good work in 2010!
