HELLO BRAZEN CAREERIST!
It’s almost the New Year, and we’re really looking forward to 2010. In preparation for all of the exciting advances we have planned, we want to make sure that you – our loyal members – are in sync with where we are planning to go in the coming months.
Last summer, we changed everything about Brazen Careerist by introducing Groups and making your Fan Feed home base on the site. The momentum behind this shift was exciting, and it didn’t take long for us to realize that the word Groups didn’t give enough credit to what you all were creating.
Anyone who has been active within Brazen Careerist Groups has been a part of something special. You’ve created communities where peers can exchange ideas and come together for support. And you’ve shown us what genuine, powerful networking is all about!
Beginning today, December 7, we are going to start referring to Groups as Networks, and anybody who creates one will be considered a Network Leader.
As we begin to release upgrades and enhancements to our Networks in 2010, they will more and more be tied to your own Professional Brands and they’ll become an extension of where you stand as leading members of the Brazen Careerist Community. We’re here to help you make your Networks a success.
This Wednesday, December 9 at 9PM EST, Penelope Trunk and I will be conducting an introductory webinar about leveraging Networks as a professional branding tool on Brazen Careerist. We’ll provide you with some basic philosophies behind network leadership as well as practical tips, and then we’ll take questions from you – our leaders.
