Recently, many Twitter users opened their accounts to find that the Twitter Gods have blessed us with lists. This new feature allows Twitter users to create lists of people that others can follow with one click.
On the right-hand sidebar, there is now an area called “Lists” that shows the lists you’ve made and those you’re in. Click “New List” and you’re on your way to giving your followers an easy way to follow your favorite Twitter users. (As you can see from the image, the new "Lists" area is below the search engine and above the "Trending Topics" section.)
You can add people to your list by either browsing through the list of people you follow, by visiting profiles you want to add one by one, or by clicking on your “followers” link and using the drop down list menu (now located above the follow/block/message dropdown menu).
Even though Twitter asked us not to Tweet about it (this isn’t a tweet and therefore doesn’t count!!), word has spread quickly and the news of lists is no longer a secret on the world wide web. At the beginning
of October, Twitter used a small sampling of users to test a BETA program on. They are now rolling the BETA out to larger groups of users.
The new feature has even changed up our dashboard. You now see your "following" and "followers" along with the lists you're in. (The number of tweets you've published is now right under your name.)

I know. I’m a horrible secret-keeper.
Learn by using! Get out there and create some lists! Get back to me with your list name (if public) so I can follow your favorite tweeters.
