Is it really possible to be more successful by limiting yourself?

Yes.

But limits are supposed to be evil and dirty; the enemies to our inner free spirit. Right?

Well what I’ve realized is that sometimes limits are actually the key to your success.

Great post.

One of my favorite quotes is: "He who knows his limits has no limits" (I have no idea who said this).

Also, I think that this is not only true for people, but for businesses and groups too. Anyone who tries to be everything for everyone will always fail. Much better to focus on doing a few things really well.

I also read it's best not to set goals. Best to focus, opportunities comes when you least expext it

It's a little bit philosophy .. but yes, this is really true ..

But I don't agree with the last point, it's better to focus on something, but groups are there just to let people do a number of things in the same time ..

nice post man, keep it up..

And don't forget Dirty Harry Callahan: "A man's got to know his limitations"

This is the time of year when, every time the phone rings here at Veritas Prep HQ, there's a good chance it's an applicant calling to ask us if he should apply to business school in the third admissions round, or if he should wait until next year. The answer, as is the answer for most things in life, is "It depends."

Personal Branding

There has been a great deal written about how to engage with social media to establish a name for yourself online, but a commonly overlooked piece of the puzzle is also one of the simplest: owning your own domain name. A domain name complements the rest of your online presence through branding using yourname.com or a similar variation.
