One of the most valuable lessons I have learned in New York is to stop envying what I don’t have or haven’t yet become.
It may seem counter-intuitive since the city is practically built on materialism (think banking), but keeping up with the Jones’s in a place like New York will surely drive anyone insane, depressed, or at the very least, jaded of life.
New York has the best of very kind, the most beautiful girl will always find someone twice as beautiful, not to
These are all great suggestions. I'm starting to think that the quarter life crisis can be pretty tough to make it through and sometimes you just need a complete overhaul on some aspect of your life.
Usually in crisis, we can break open and analyse what is and isn't working and make the changes accordingly. It's much more satisfactory to do that than wallow in self pity.
Great post!

I enjoyed this post! Like many people I'm a NYC transplant and while I've accomplished a lot, I always feel I could be doing so much more. I'm not sure if I'm just an over achiever or if living in NYC is making me feel this way. LOL.
