Groups have been live for over two weeks now, and I have to say we’re really happy (thrilled actually) by the participation. Thanks to everyone who started groups, joined groups and even went a step further by spreading the word to friends elsewhere on the Internet.

Ha, the chances of me finding other people in Manhattan, KS is pretty slim. There aren't that many of us through Kansas to begin with!

Nisha: Madison is definitely QUALIFIED. They're a force to be reckoned with too. But you also have a pretty amazing crew down in D.C. so I'm sure you can defeat them.
kathleen: What's the closest major city? Wichita or Kansas City? I bet you could rally people from around those areas and win. Facebook groups would be a great place to start. Everybody loves a free party :)

Alyssa: You should start one up! I bet there are some great Facebook groups and Twitter peeps that could lay the foundation for a great Oregon community here on Brazen.

"Texas Bloggers" is definitely eligible ... so is "North Carolina Bloggers."

Your group must be based on a city, state or province to be eligible.
If a group like Texas were to win, we'd just have that group vote on where the party would be held. Which would actually be disappointing for some members ... Part of the reason why we're recommending that people rally in close proximity to one another.

Canada is a BIG place. Even bigger than Texas, believe it or not :)
We want to try and encourage more local groups to start forming. So only groups formed under a city, state or province will be eligible for the contest.
I'm not sure where you're from in Canada, but give me a shout and let me know. There are plenty of great Brazen members in Canada that I'd love to connect you with. Especially in Toronto ...

Tip of the Day: Visit your city's local Facebook groups, contact their admins and rally them together in your Brazen Group.
... It's a surefire way to make your city the most popular community on Brazen Careerist.

Hey Caitlin!
Both groups are still technically active, but we will to make an effort to reach out to admins and merge location-based groups on the near future. I think that would help make some of those groups more valuable.
