I'm a BIG Michael J. Fox fan too! Ever since the days of Back to the Future, Teen Wolf and Family Ties. He's a great man.
I'm inspired by all he's been through. I consider myself an optimist, but there are a lot of things in my life that I could be more positive about. Thanks for writing this post. I didn't get to watch his special, but this is a great reminder that I really should.
I wish ABC would get on the Hulu bandwagon so I could watch it there ...

MJF (Fellow Canadian!) is pretty cool. And yes, given his many circumstances, it's great to see someone with such great spirit.
I don't consider myself an optimist (more a realist), but i do think that there's an ounce of hope in every situation, and that you're never really dealt a hand you can't play in the end.
I have my "It's not going to work" moments once in a while, but you just have to power through them.

I think he's one of the few 'clean' celebrities left - no drug/booze fuelled lifestyle, a good marriage, cheerful and optimistic.
In this era of celebs hosting wild parties, drunken orgies and sex videos, it's always nice to hear about people like Fox.

@Mike I think I'd agree with you there. Definitely more wholesome than most.
@Mehnaz I think we all have those lovely *moments.* For me, it's the people I surround myself with that help pull me through.
@Ryan Me too! I was looking for it last night and mad at myself for not taping or DVRing it. Maybe it'll come out on a mini-DVD or something. But, I definitely want to check out his book. Very cool.
