The main issue for me is timing. I think it's inappropriate to tweet during, say, a Presidential address to a joint session of Congress.
Plus that Alice/Starbucks tweet is so vague that it's pretty meaningless. While I know that my elected and appointed officials are human beings, I'd like them to have a sense of how things read to those of us who aren't in their heads.

Today technology is just not a glamor or fad it has become a necessity and is embraced by different aspects of our everyday life.. politics should be no exception.
