I read recently that the recession has made no difference in voluntary turnover. I call bullsh*t. The past 4 months have been my slowest recruitment months ever. Usually we have one position that take a little longer. We currently have several positions that have been a nightmare to fill. The only explanation I can come up with is that good employees are just not leaving their jobs.
