I enjoyed this post. I am a firm believer that persistence is the key to success. So many are so quick to give up and then moan and groan about life not treating them fair. I have been working since I was 15 too and although I have worked in many positions that weren’t my “dream job,” they helped me understand different talents and skills I didn’t know I possessed.
Being armed with this knowledge motivated me to keep on searching for a job that would utilize those skills. You can’t expect a return if you don’t invest anything—persistence is the key.

This is the most important advice I can give. I know we all hear it all the time and sometimes it’s easier said than done - but it’s absolutely critical. As we look for jobs with different companies, it’s easy to alter who we really are to meet, what we think, are the expectations of the interviewer.
