This is a great example of viral marketing to create a brand. It is not much different then things are today except for the fact that viral marketing takes place online now.
I've always enjoyed history so thanks for my history lesson today. :) What I think is interesting is the amount of time it took before the Mayos had their own building. I would guess medical issues were either dealt with at the hospital or a house call. BTW I have never witnessed a house call but heard of their existence.
Stop using your companies pre-printed thank you notes. Hand write a thank you note! Hand writing is much more personal and it shows you care. More...
