I have a strong appreciation for photo journalism. There's something about being able to capture a single moment in time without (supposedly) being a participant in the event. The Observer's got a nice gallery of their best images, so you should definitely check out these images from the Charlotte Observer's best 100 of 2008. There are some really excellent photos there, nice work

Yes I think it is nice. But my mother does this and sometimes it makes me sad that she rarely enjoys the moment and just lives her life behind the lens. She doesn't actually enjot the moment, she just think of the best way to capture it. Do you honestly think that that is right?
