I blog for a living. I didn’t really set out to make that happen, but a major percentage of my income comes from blogging on other sites. When I started this site, I know I didn’t mean for that to happen.

Like I mentioned in another comment, I've seen a lot of blog posts where bloggers are discouraging others to blog, saying that they won't make enough money to sustain themselves and to keep their day job. Penelope Trunk even has a post saying that you won't make money. Now, I know that blogging opens up tremendous opportunities. You probably won't get a book deal or a TV series. But, since you are making money from being a guest blogger on blogs, it's definitely possible. I just don't like the "don't be a blogger" posts. Because if anyone else is like me, it just heightens the suspense and makes me want to try.
