I just wanted to leave a comment to say that I really enjoyed your post! Also, I was quick to notice that you mentioned your professional writing degree - I was shocked and pleasantly surprised (it's rare that I find someone with the same degree as me!). It was nice to have an online connection to someone based on something in my real life, if only for a moment - thank you!

Meghan- thanks! I know, professional writing degrees are few and far between (but so valuable). I work for Purdue, which I think is one of the only schools in Indiana that offers the major, so I meet a few students each year who are taking PW out into the world. Glad you enjoyed the post!
