Twitter is the original micro-blogging service, created with the idea of posting updates via SMS or text messages. With millions of users and growing, how can you use Twitter to find your next job?
This quick guide will show you to get started with Twitter, build your network effectively and focus on your job search goals all while staying in a good mood. Yes, you can.

I just wrote a similar blog post about this as well on my own blog over the weekend -- great minds think a like.
Have you found any jobs through Twitter?

Hi Erin- the timing is funny. I had this post idea in mind for a long time but everything came together a few days ago and I'm glad to see the response it's getting.
I personally have not tried to job search on Twitter but I have seen others doing it successfully and I'm hoping to have inspired even more people with this article. I would definitely try the Twitter route next time myself. Actually you could say that I already have: http://twitter.com/jacobshare :)

I never figured that Twitter could even be used as a means to find a job! Hahahaha...
Still, if you're looking for a job, I suggest you try checking out http://www.peopleahead.com
It's a fairly new site but the job matches you'll get are pretty spot-on with what you're looking for.
They also happen to have an account on YouTube that's got some pretty funny and cute videos at http://www.youtube.com/peopleahead
Hope you find the job that you're looking for there!

This is very interesting. Never in a million years would I have thought about using twitter to find a job.
