Tomorrow is the big day. The impact may be larger than you think in terms of youth voting.

Great post -- I completely, totally, agree. I actually wrote a very similar post on my blog on Sunday!

Great points Greg. With all the dollars, time and attention put into social media and getting Gen Y geared up, we really do need to step up to the plate. I think the value is beginning to show. Hopefully, we all get engaged, take action and deliver.

I totally agree with you that everyone should get out and vote today. I voted bright and early this morning before work...no excuses not to make it to the polls. There was a women in front of me who looked like she was in her late 30's asking the staff to show her how to vote. I was happy to see that another American was taking their part in the election, but I was suprised that she had never voted before. I have been voting since I was 18 in local and presidential elections, and it has never been a question for me whether to sit at home and be quiet or go out and have my voice heard.

@James - I was looking at the dollars that were spent on the campaign today. It's kinda scary that we can throw away that kind of money on advertising to get our country out of the crapper instead of using it to actually get it out.

Anyway, thanks for the comments and go vote!

Your "facts" are completely inaccurate and your numbers are even more misleading.

@anonymous - thanks for pointing that out. I'm sure J.O. from Forrester would love to have you tell him that.

Just checked Obama's Twitter page, all this excitement from today has him with a few hundred "more" supporters now. (114,980)

Sorry about that ;)
