I had a pretty bad day on Friday, and a stressful weekend. It was all looking up Monday… then a typo rocked my world.
Friday, part of the reason why I was having such a bad day was because I was manically scrambling to get some sponsorship letters out the door. Since I don’t typically do sponsorship letters, I tried to be as careful as possible — I had my boss, our assistant, and the person I was writing the letter for all proofread them. But th
Typos happen to the best of us ... which means I'm probably pretty far from the best since I make them every day. But it's good that you're learning from the situation.
I once forwarded an email to someone on behalf of my boss and didn't realize that she had said some negative things about the person somewhere in the thread. It was bad ...
I learned from that and now I always read through threads that I'm passing on. Because you never know.

OK, now you really have me wondering about this typo! I've seen some classic ones passed around on the internet, and I always expect that I'll see one show up on David Letterman one of these days! But, I love that you stepped up to the issue and took the initiative in creating a solution.
As a manager, I'm always OK when a colleague walks in to tell me about a problem IF they walk in with a solution. In that case, I don't case who caused the problem, I'm just excited to get on board with the solution.
Great post. Thanks.
