I think you make some interesting points. Sadly, I think that some people interpret your POV to mean that if they're not making money off their hobby, than their "work" is separate from their play. I think there is a different way to look at it - what if, regardless of your "work", or how you make your living, you tried to bring your "play" to your "work"? Even if it's only a spirit of playing - of enjoying, of lightness, of relaxing and replenishment.
