The economy is failing and it’s the only thing we see on the news these days. While you may or may not have felt the effects of this crisis, we are told that we soon will, and it worries me. I have always thought of our twenties as the time to go after our dreams, to make mistakes, but to take chances so that we can learn about ourselves and what we want from our lives. Do these rules still apply to twenty-somethings spending this “prime” in an economic crisis?

Sometimes you have to loose a little to gain. With jobs becoming more competitive (due to many being cut) getting your masters might help you stand out when applying for jobs.
As far as the twenties being the time to go after dreams, make mistakes, and learn about ones self you can still do that. Just because we are having economic trouble doesn't mean that you have to sit at home in fear of the economy, it just means that you have to be a bit frugal when chasing your dreams.
