Viral videos, blogs, networks, tweets, are just among the hundreds and thousands of ideas, concepts, and mediums being popularized by the millions followers. So true Daniel. One of the biggest problems I see with companies implementing social media is that they're doing it just to do it. They think it's as easy as signing up for Facebook or authoring a blog, but it's not.
Companies are usually not this sloppy when it comes to their investments, so I wonder where they are getting their information. I'm sure they've done some legwork ... but where did it all go wrong?
What's actually pretty awesome is that the organizations behind our company community are learning how to blog from the feedback our community is giving them. And they're actually coming up with some pretty solid material because of it.
