Sometimes we humans just need to shut the world off; flip the switch with no guilt, no apologies, and no hard feelings.

But most of us can’t do this, myself included, so in classic fashion my body has decided to fill itself to overflowing with phlegm, mucus, and other hard-to-spell gooey nasal seepage. (Wow. I am really sorry I just typed ‘nasal seepage.’ Hello and welcome, creepy Googlers.)
