Great reminder write-up of the classic principle that "to be a good leader you must be a good follower."
I also agree with you and echo your concern that you don't just want to be a follower in the corporate world. I think many from our generation are afraid of being trapped by having less of an impact in the workplace. I believe that's why so many of our peers are looking at starting their own business or working with a start-up where the atmosphere nurtures personal leadership within the organization.
