Happy Labor Day everyone! I hope you’re all indulging in bbqs and taking final trips down the shore and generally NOT WORKING. Because you deserve this holiday! Me? In addition to my at-home work, I travel into NY three days a week for five-hour shifts proofing at a newspaper, and today is no different. When my boss offered to give me today off, I told him I would be fine with coming in. Why?

health insurance?? what is that - higher salary once we start our own business the determination of what to pay yourselves so you can live and fell successful struggles.
I agree with all the tips I would however be cautious of overpaying yourself and then when the hard times hit you have no left over money to support the basic business functions

What a great post! Just FYI, in case your husband's health insurance ever becomes unaccessible, the non-profit I work with, Qvisory, has just started offering quality, reasonably priced health insurance through Aetna. It might be worth it for you to check it out.
