Interesting list - some other thoughts, though:
1. Get involved in selfless charity work
2. Visit ANY other place in the Southern Hemisphere. (Yes, there IS a world beyond the United States/Americas!)
3. Try Internet dating at least once.
4. Attend a protest rally
5. Live below the poverty line for two weeks (if you can make it!)
6. Hitchhike (safely) to anywhere be it far or near.
