Over the past few months I have been doing some heavy lifting, architecture, project management, hitting hammers, putting out fires and celebrating with my team and every new member that comes along in the process. I thought I was building an Entertainment and Social Media business, instead I am in development of one hell of a roller coaster.
Seems fitting since Orlando is the home of the theme parks and most people thinks that is all we have to offer anyway.
How to deal with the constant ups and downs:
That sums up my roller coaster ride. What parts of the adventure am I missing? How do you deal with the parts of the coaster?

This is a great post for reminding us what we need to do. I think a lot of entrepreneurs think they know this stuff, but there's a lot of value to seeing it in a list. To keep this on your mind, you need to be in a conversations where it comes up all the time. So thanks for that, Greg.

Thanks P. Everyone wants to start their own business and stick it to the man, but the man has most of the problems figured out (well, the start-up ones at least).
If you can hang in there long enough you can get off the ride and go again!

I love this. What about ignoring that weird "the ground is moving" feeling once you hop off one roller coaster, and then immediately go jump on another one. It seems like every entreprenuer I know has started multiple businesses, almost they've grown to love that feeling!

@Kiersten - That's a great analogy and one that totally hits home. We are never satisfied with one project, we need to keep growing from one idea to the next!
