Derwin,
I took the same class at Duke University and remember the course on social enterprise. I worked for the Girl Scouts at the time and he spent a lot of time using the cookie sale as his example that day. I have to tell you, I got so much out of that non-profit management program. I have moved back to Georgia now - I would have loved the advanced program. I am only 32 years old and let me tell you, I have so much to learn from all of you with this company about GenY - I am not too removed from GenY - I guess I identify more with GenX. My new position is Vice President of Resource Development for United Way and we have just started a Young Leaders Society - I intend to check in with you all regularly - I am looking for a speaker at our YLS kickoff - any suggestions?

Tracy,
Thanks for your comments! The Duke Non-Profit Management program is phenomenal, and I’m glad to hear from someone else who has been in the program.
Congrats on your new job. Let me know how I can be of help to you.
Yours,
Derwin
