93% of communication is non-verbal, so good hiring managers see through the BS. They also ask Behavioral Questions that force the BS artist to prove what they are saying with specific examples.
Thanks for your comments and for getting the joke, so to speak. While I think the post was slightly tongue in cheek, I have *definitely* used some of the lines in my post and got called back for further interviews or got the job.
In particular, the "any decision that’s good for the company..." line dropped some jaws in a group interview and prompted them to nearly immediately offer me a position.
I'm not saying this is all you say in an interview, but it's a good way to think about interview questions before they're asked. And yes, I'd LOVE to hear some HR responses to those BS comments!
