I'm heartened to read your post, Ben, and see that someone is contemplating how we live this adventure called life. To me, you're inviting us to live in the present moment, ala Eckhart Tolle and the Power of Now. Or, the way I like to talk about it in the world of careers, as creating and living your "work from within," allowing the moment by moment unfolding, instead of racing ahead or dwelling in the past. Much easier said than done. But definitely, I've found that the savoring is sweet.
@Sergiy - It could mean that you live outside the box, so to speak...or it might just mean you don't care for M&Ms!
@Susan - Aye, living in the present is a good thing. There is an old Sioux saying, though, that bears remembrance:
"Keep an eye on the future and a foot in the past."
While we must live in the present and not distract ourselves with What Came Before and What Will Be, we need to be aware that Before and After exist and are worthy of some thought.
That's why planning, even if it's rough, is a good thing. Once done, you don't have to think about it, and it saves you some "Now time" later on.
3 RESPONSES TO "LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF BY EATING M&M'S"
What does it say about you if you don't eat M&Ms at all?
