IBM is one of the few companies that will even do a survey. The real question is whether they do anything with the information.
It's pretty interesting that a recruiter in the company requests your resume and then does nothing with it. If companies are all that concerned about getting quality employees (I'm not convinced they really are), you'd think they would at least follow through on their request of you.
Have you seen any differentiation in responsiveness to resumes or requests based upon company size?
Scott - I also thought it was interesting that I got an email and no follow up. I'm not sure about the differentiation. I'm not exactly actively looking for a job, nor have I applied to IBM before or since so I don't have much to compare it to at the moment.
